With the recent tariffs, steel prices have increased substantially. This led to having to rework some ongoing projects to adjust to the increase in costs. Luckily, we've been blessed with a customer base that is perceptive and amiable. Together, we made sure nothing would get in the way of accomplishing our goals. What's the best thing to happen to your company since last year? We're celebrating 25 years! With the industry moving at full throttle, we have followed suit with growth of our own. What started as a timely business concept from a dining table in the early '90s has grown into a reputable, well-managed company. Please give us a sneak peek into a new product or service you're releasing in 2019. We're introducing electronic job boards into our business model. This will not only increase our efficiency but our effectiveness in ensuring customers' needs are met swiftly. Tell us a company secret. We have a ping-pong table in the middle of our office. If you could invite anyone, from modern times or history, to coach your staff, who would it be and why? Chuck Noll. He was an inspiration, on and off the field. As a leader, he refused to accept defeat, and his ingenuity and determination led to an incredible four Super Bowl rings. If your company had a mascot, what would it be and why? It does! Our very own Mack the Shark! Mack is a member of the Mako shark family and tends to look like smaller versions of the Great White. Similarly, Mako Steel is a small company amongst our competition, but we stand strong and influential in the industry. If President Trump were to write a Tweet about your business, what would it say? I only work with the best. Trust me, Mako Steel is the best. And their portfolio is huuuuge. I would know. I'm an expert on these things.
