2018 BEST OF BUSINESS Tell us a company secret. We work hard to provide a fun company culture. Typically, you spend as much or more time with your co-workers as you do your families. On Mondays, we cater in lunch, so everyone has a chance to catch up from the weekend. During the year, we host cookouts and casino nights for spouses, and we have a game room with ping pong, air hockey and a few classic arcade games. So, our secret is that happy employees working within a fun environment create happy customers. If you could invite anyone, from modern times or history, to coach your staff, who would it be and why? We're big football fans, which makes this decision easy. We'd pick Vince Lombardi, who said: "The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand." If your company had a mascot, what would it be and why? We have to go with the bald eagle, which represents long life and great strength. If President Trump were to write a Tweet about your business, what would it say? ReRoof USA is doing HUUUUGGEEE roofs. #ReRoofUSA #America Why do you love the self-storage industry? The people. We work with different types of customers, and our self-storage clients are our favorite. They typically have an ease about them and often share the same goals and values as our company. What's the most pressing challenge facing your business this year, and how are you conquering it? Steel-price increases have been our most pressing challenge this year. We've minimized this by leveraging our buying power and partnering with the right vendors to stay ahead of price increases and minimize the impact to our customers. What's the best thing to happen to your company since last year? We've added employees to our team in all departments. Growth is always a great thing, and we are lucky to have found employees who share common goals with the rest of our team. Please give us a sneak peek into a new product or service you're releasing in 2019. We added TPO single-ply roof systems to our product line this year, and we hope to expand this offering in 2019. Founders/Owners: Heath Mulkey, Chris Pearson President: Andy Sullivan CEO: Richard Allen Founded: 2012 Headquarters: Villa Rica, Ga. It provides design, engineering, material supply and installation of continuous standing-seam and corrugated, through-fastened metal roofing systems, as well as single-ply recover systems. The company's continuous site-formed, standing-seam panels are designed for almost any type of building, and its roof systems can be installed over existing metal, shingle, rubber and asphalt roofs. The company says retrofitting over existing roofs can be less invasive than removing and replacing them and allows for flexibility in meeting stringent wind and energy requirements.
